Kodak to acquire BÖWE BELL + HOWELL’s scanner division

Eastman Kodak Company and BÖWE BELL + HOWELL announced Kodak’s agreement to acquire the scanner division of BÖWE BELL + HOWELL.  The scanner division is a supplier of document scanners to value added resellers (VARs), systems integrators, and end users.  Based in the greater Chicago area, the scanner division is a worldwide business with locations in North America, Europe and Asia.

Agilent Technologies and Hynix co-develop long-wire ZIF probe tips for DDR, GDDR memory validation

Agilent Technologies and Hynix Semiconductor have collaborated to develop a high-bandwidth, high-performance long-wire ZIF (zero insertion force) probe tip optimized for DDR (double data rate ) and GDDR (graphics double data rate) SDRAM validation. The long-wire ZIF tip allows engineers to make accurate measurements of high-speed signals when they probe signals located farther apart. These tips are used with Agilent's InfiniiMax and ZIF probing system, which offers improved usability and lower cost per solder attachment.
