Latisys, provider of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions announced Wednesday Latisys Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) offering delivered as a monthly service requiring no capital investment by the customer. Latisys' DRaaS portfolio ranges from near-instantaneous continuous availability (geoclustering) services, to simple offsite data backup services, to the Latisys enterprise cloud integrated into DRaaS solutions for additional savings.
Riverbed Technology announced Thursday that its Cascade Profiler 9.6, Cascade Shark 9.6, Cascade Gateway 9.6, and Cascade Pilot 9.6, from its Riverbed Performance Management (RPM) product family, have achieved an EAL3+ certification under the Common Criteria for Information Technology Security Evaluation and Certification Scheme (CCS). With the achievement of Common Criteria certification, Riverbed addresses critical assessment and validation under the Federal Data Center Consolidation Initiative (FDCCI) and Cloud First mandates and demonstrates the company's commitment to providing the highest level of independently verified information assurance to its customers and partners.
