The Stratify eVantage solution allows general counsel to reduce the cost and risk of eDiscovery by going beyond statistical data culling with advanced technologies that drive more intelligent, qualitative analysis on all matters and internal investigations in their eDiscovery portfolio.

The solution addresses three primary objectives for corporate legal departments. It provides on-premises early case assessment enabling general counsel can take a smarter approach to early case assessment using the advanced technologies and capabilities of the Stratify eVantage solution to analyze fact and communication patterns, while filtering large collections of raw data.
The Stratify eVantage solution also offers on-premises first- level document preview and ragging. It enables general counsel to examine the content of documents and emails so they can move beyond mechanical culling criteria to analyze fact patterns during internal investigations and assess the relevancy of documents for review.
The solution also provides seamless integration with hosted review. When matters require review by outside counsel and/or external experts, documents and work product from the Stratify eVantage solution can be seamlessly migrated to the Stratify Legal Discovery service for hosted review to take advantage of in-depth review capabilities, including matter portfolio management, infrastructure support for distributed review teams and disaster recovery, and 24 / 7 / 365 project management.

The appliance processes 300+ file and archive formats, including Encase, FTK and other forensic data files, together with Microsoft Exchange and Unix mail, and automatically removes system files and duplicate documents.
The Stratify eVantage solution delivers in-depth search capabilities that enable general counsel to locate critical information regardless of how or where it lives on the network. Attorneys can interrogate data sets using full-text and metadata search, as well as keyword, phrase, wildcard, proximity, and Boolean searching. Attorneys can also search in multiple languages, including complex character based languages such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean and more.
Metadata-based “faceted search” provides general counsel with powerful filtering tool to accelerate early case assessment and identify key documents, while reducing the volume of data for review. Metadata-based search “facets” can include concepts as well as structured information such as create date, senders, receivers, etc. Attorneys can combine and manipulate these search facets in real-time to refine search results, drill down into data sets and interactively test hypotheses.
Stratify’s automatic concept organization technology groups documents and emails together by concepts that are specific to a particular matter, enabling attorneys to quickly assess relevancy of related documents. All search results in the Stratify eVantage solution are broken down by concepts that attorneys can use to quickly focus their investigation. From an overall matter perspective, the matter concept hierarchy provides general counsel with an intelligent, overall view of documents in a given investigation.
The Stratify eVantage solution also provides near-duplicate detection and sophisticated email thread analysis, as well as robust multi-language support. The appliance auto-detects documents in multiple-languages, organizes non-English language documents into language-specific concept folders and indexes character-based languages (such as Japanese, Chinese and Korean) to optimize search.
The Stratify eVantage solution will be available to corporate clients within 30 days.
