Tandberg Data, a global supplier of data protection solutions, announced Tuesday the availability of LTO-5 Half Height (HH) Fibre Channel (FC) external desktop tape drive. Capable of backing up 3 terabytes of data on a single cartridge in less than three hours, the new LTO-5 HH FC external tape drive provides a highly cost effective means of storing large video files, managing workflow within the production environment, and simplifying archiving tasks. Other users with high-performance requirements also will benefit from this easy and inexpensive way to edit, store and archive data.
