Panda Security, a cloud security company, released Monday a new version of its Panda Cloud Partner Center. Originally launched earlier this year, the partner center allows channel partners and service providers to grow their business by selling security software with maximum vendor autonomy. Partners can manage channel activity online in real-time, while remotely enabling protection for customers' email and endpoints, such as servers, PCs and laptops.

In its latest version, Panda Cloud Partner Center simplifies the renewal process for partners with customizable tools to streamline channel management and enable cross-selling with free trials for customers of products that they do not have. As an extra incentive, upon signing up for the new partner center, Panda Security will also give away five licenses for Panda Cloud Office Protection, the company's cloud-based endpoint security service for small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs)that can be managed remotely through its Web console from anywhere.

The latest version of Panda Cloud Partner Center includes simplified license renewal with the Panda Cloud Partner Center console displays notifications and sends email notifications regarding upcoming and expired licenses. Its automatic customer license renewal enables partners to customize which customer licenses will automatically renew upon expiration. Its automatic customer license assignment allows partners to customize license limitations, including an unlimited option to allow customers to make as many installations as they want regardless of the contracted licenses, to better accommodate varying invoicing practices.

Partners can also view customer license history, including all previous actions, in one place, as well as assign an existing customer a trial version to try a new product.
