Overland Storage Inc., a provider of data management and data protection offerings across the data lifecycle, announced Tuesday that its FastTrack Partner Programme – established in March 2010 – played a key role in the doubling company’s branded product sales growth over the past year. The enhancements to the sales enablement programme for global channel partners have resulted in ten-fold growth of the registered user base and more than tripled deal registrations. The resources and support partners receive through the FastTrack Partner Programme increase sales close rates, benefiting both channel partners and Overland Storage.

The FastTrack Partner Programme maximixes revenue opportunities and profitability for worldwide channel partners by giving them access to dedicated Overland sales and marketing programmes, personalized offline and online resources, and an integrated deal registration programme that provides up to 35 percent margin protection for registered sales opportunities, pipeline management and training.
Enhancements to the FastTrack Partner Program in 2011 include tripling of protected margins on SnapServer rackmount products from 10 percent to 30 percent, comprehensive profit-maximizing deal registration with automated approvals and tracking, and integrated Overland Partner Portal built on salesforce.com architecture. It also offers partner access to new customized resources, content, contests and promotions, access to Overland “PartnerCasts,” a series of educational webinars developed for partners, lead generation opportunities and marketing programme support, and dedicated field sales, field engineering and inside sales resources.
