The new 8 GB and 12 GB USB drives are instantly recognized when plugged into the USB port of a desktop or notebook PC, similar to the other products in the Store ‘n’ Go range, Verbatim said. This mobility allows students and commuters to carry their data with them, and connect the drive to any computer through the USB port when they arrive at their destination, the company said.
Verbatim offers its Store 'n' Go drives for cost-effective storage with password security, the company said. These drives are designed for anyone requiring portable mass storage, it added. With the easy-to-use devices, users gain a whole new range of mobility options, Verbatim added. Students can use the drive to transfer files from school libraries to their home PC, it added. Families with two or more home computers can use the drive to move files from one computer to another, instead of setting up a network, the company said.
Verbatim Store 'n' Go drives can be used with Windows 98 SE, Windows 2000, Windows XP, MAC OS 8.6 and higher, Linux 2.4.0 and also Microsoft Windows Vista, the company said. A Microsoft Vista compatible version of the security application will be available later this month, Verbatim added.

Vista supported versions of V-safe and V-key will be available later this month, and 8 GB capacity is anticipated early first quarter, Verbatim added.
Verbatim’s Corporate Secure USB drives are based on the company’s Store ‘n’ Go Pro USB drives product line, Verbatim said. The Corporate Secure USB drives feature mandatory safeguards which protects all device content with a complex password, the company said. The hack-resistant feature locks down the device after 10 failed logon attempts, which protects the data from dictionary or brute force hack attempts, it added.

The Store 'n' Go Corporate Secure USB drives are stylish, ultra-sleek drives which allow consumers to carry ready-to-launch, smart software applications, like PC settings, files and personal preferences wherever they go, without always having to carry a laptop, or risk not having a needed application on a borrowed PC, Verbatim said.
