Founded in 1981, Computer Technology Review (CTR) is one of the most respected editorial authorities in the computer storage industry. CTR was the first storage publication to have a Web presence. Today, the CTR Web site has a very loyal following and is one of the largest sites devoted to data storage and data management. Except for specialty printed publications throughout the year, CTR is entirely online.

Writer's Guidelines

Computer Technology Review (CTR) accepts contributed articles by experts and consultants in the data storage and data management industry. Articles must be exclusive to CTR and vendor neutral with no commercial overtones, superlatives or pricing comparisons. The first rule is that the information be useful to the reader. Proofread for basic grammar and punctuation. Contributed materials should require little or no copy editing.

Submitting contributed articles

Articles should be at least 1000 words and have no maximum length. If you include graphics, please embed them in the Word document and send as separate files, preferably JPG or GIF at 72 dpi.

Authors may want to submit a story outline prior to writing. The outline should include the following:

· Working title
· Introductory paragraph stating the objective of the article
· Bulleted outline of main ideas
· Conclusion paragraph

Articles should be submitted electronically to our editor, Deanne Hollis (deanne_hollis@wwpi.com). The writer's name and title must be included along with the company's URL.

Readers of CTR are End User IT Management, VARs and Systems Integrators. Our mission is to provide our readers with the information needed to evaluate, specify, integrate, and implement working systems in various vertical applications.
