SpamTitan upgraded its security software to version 4.14 with an application programming interface (API) that allows greater support to its ISP customer base by offering remote management.
ISPs who use the SpamTitan solution will be able to easily manage a large number of domains by configuring their programming interface via SpamTitan’s API without needing to go through a UI (user interface). ISPs will have the opportunity to hook the addition of domains directly into the SpamTitan API in order to automate the signing up of new clients to their mail filtering service.
SpamTitan’s software includes Kaspersky and ClamAV anti-virus solutions, which are both highly- regarded engines, complete in any software download. With this new API, users will automatically receive spam engine updates, updates from Kaspersky and ClamAV anti-virus engines, as well as other minor improvements and bug fixes. SpamTitan’s feature set already includes outbound scanning to protect the managed mail provider’s server from being blacklisted. Users will also have the enhanced ability to manage domains, user policies, and white/blacklists. With this new release, they will also be able to view quarantine reports in 11 languages. SpamTitan’s software is available in both a VMware-certified virtual version as well as an ISO version.
