Wyse Technology upgrades its Wyse Thin OS thin client operating system

Wyse Technology upgraded its Wyse Thin OS purpose-built thin client operating system incorporates Wyse collaborative processing architecture (CPA), as well as increased security components, and compatibility with RDP 6.

CPA reduces the impact of enhanced user content like multimedia on the data center within client virtualization environments. Wyse built CPA in response to customer feedback requesting ways to reduce the size of data centers needed to support office workers. CPA intelligently shifts high intensity activity like multimedia decoding from the server CPU to the thin client, reducing the CPU utilization, energy and heat generated by the data center servers, yet maximizing the user experience.

Optimized for thin client devices, Wyse Thin OS 6.3 delivers new features and functionality that help end users maximize their investment in popular virtual client environments from Citrix Systems, Inc., Microsoft and VMware.
